In an inspiring initiative to rejuvenate urban spaces, Peterborough Positive has launched a vibrant street art trail, complete with a free map and guided tours, aimed at celebrating the city’s rich artistic identity. The project showcases 15 stunning murals that not only beautify the city but are also set to attract both locals and visitors to the town centre.

The trail highlights the creative contributions of renowned local artists, including Nathan Murdoch and Tony Nero, who will lead guided tours to share the stories behind each artwork. Pep Cipriano, the chief operating officer at Peterborough Positive, emphasized the importance of street art in shaping the city’s identity, stating, “Any trail brings people into the city centre – especially one focused on art and creativity.” This sentiment has resonated well, as evidenced by the enthusiastic reception of the project—2,000 maps were printed and have already been completely distributed.
