Teenagers Set a Remarkable Example by Cleaning Up Their Community

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, two Year 9 students from Dorcan School, Ollie Kemp and Kasia Pawlowska, have garnered praise for their commendable efforts in cleaning up litter in their neighborhood. Spotted at the junction of Towcester Road, Sywell Road, and Welford Close, these teenagers have demonstrated how individual actions can inspire collective responsibility.

Community Praises Young Role Models

Ken Mumford, a local resident who witnessed their efforts, shared his admiration for the teenagers by stating, "I began to think what a good thing these two teenagers were doing." Mr. Mumford took the initiative to engage with them, expressing his wish to capture their efforts through photographs in hopes of publicizing their inspiring work.

Mr. Mumford emphasized the importance of acknowledging Ollie and Kasia's actions, suggesting it could motivate other young people to contribute positively to their community. “This needs to be brought to the attention of parishioners with a view to encouraging others to help in their community in similar ways,” he remarked.
