Opening its doors in January, Essential Amor has quickly become a favorite hub for those seeking a touch of nostalgia and relaxation. Co-owners Jessica Cannon and her mother, Emma Bowen, have made the decision to adjust their hours based on feedback from the community, aiming to make their delightful offerings accessible to everyone.

“After getting a feel for the lovely town of Southwold over the last few months, we’ve changed our opening times to hopefully accommodate everyone wanting to visit us,” said Jessica. With plans to open an extra day on bank holidays and during the bustling summer holidays, the shop is poised for even greater success.

A Bright Future Ahead

Essential Amor prides itself on not just sweets but a diverse selection of aromatherapy products, including candles, diffusers, and bath products. Jessica expressed her pride in the shop's progress and the vibrant atmosphere they have cultivated. “We feel very proud of our little shop and how far it’s come since opening. It’s looking so full and fun; we really feel like we now have something for everyone,” she added.

The shop underwent renovations before opening, replacing the previous establishment, "Sweeties," and has since blossomed into a colorful and inviting destination. With excitement building for the summer months, both owners are eager to welcome even more visitors as they continue to focus on the little luxuries in life.
