Solihull Council is basking in the glow of achievement as it has been awarded a ‘good’ rating for its adult social care services by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This recognition places Solihull among the top five local authorities in the country, a remarkable accolade reflecting their dedication to serving the community.

The CQC conducted a comprehensive inspection of Solihull’s adult social care services, culminating in a report published on March 18. With an impressive score of 84 percent, the CQC rated the authority commendably, highlighting strengths across various quality areas. Notably, three critical areas received a score of four, equivalent to an outstanding rating, showcasing the council's effective efforts in delivering high-quality care.

The assessment praised Solihull for its innovative community advice hubs, which play a pivotal role in connecting with residents.
