New Silver Jewellery Shop Sparks Joy and Renewed Life on Redcar High Street

In an inspiring development for the high street, a new silver jewellery shop, B Silver, is embracing a bright future after a successful launch in July 2025. Located on Redcar High Street, this venture from business partners Craig Robinson and Gavin Hubbard has not only filled a previously empty unit but has also created two new jobs in the community.

Support Through Grant Funding

The opening of B Silver was made possible thanks to grant funding from a scheme supported by the Tees Valley Combined Authority and implemented by Redcar and Cleveland Council. This support played a crucial role in accelerating their plans, demonstrating how strategic initiatives can foster local entrepreneurship.

A Commitment to Local

Mr. Robinson emphasized the value of supporting local businesses, stating, "Shopping online can be great, but it's not the same." His dedication is reflected in the shop's fit-out, which sourced all services from local vendors, encapsulating a community-focused approach. "I feel very strongly about supporting small and local businesses," he added, highlighting a commitment not just to commerce but to community vitality.

A Part of the Bigger Picture

The establishment of B Silver is part of a broader initiative to revitalize Redcar High Street, with funding coming from the Redcar Town Deal. This effort aims to reinforce the local economy and boost community confidence. Cllr Lynn Pallister and Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen have both expressed their support, crediting the new shop for its role in enhancing the high street's character and functionality.

As B Silver continues to thrive, it stands as a testament to the potential of local businesses to not only enhance their neighborhoods but also to inspire others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
