New Chapter for Liverpool Olympia: A Community Hub Emerges
Liverpool Olympia recently celebrated the launch of its new Community Interest Company (CIC) status with an engaging open morning attended by local schoolchildren. The historic venue, located on West Derby Road, showcased itself through a delightful circus magic show and unique interactions that enchanted around 100 pupils from nearby primary schools.

Local showman Mike Stuart hosted the event, which featured a captivating magic show that channeled the spirit of renowned theatre architect Frank Matcham. The young attendees were also thrilled to meet Noo Noo, an animatronic elephant that adds a whimsical touch to the experience. In addition, select invited guests explored the Grade II* listed Olympia, including tours of its historically significant underground Elephant Pit, currently undergoing restoration.
