The LFC Foundation has reached an innovative agreement with the Anfield Sports and Community Centre (ASCC) to take over operations, ensuring the beloved venue continues to serve the local community. This partnership emerges in response to rising operational challenges faced by ASCC, highlighting the importance of community engagement in maintaining vital services.
Commitment to Community and Improvement
As a longstanding supporter of ASCC, the LFC Foundation has been based at the center since 2015. The recent agreement allows the foundation not only to manage the facility but also to enhance it for current and future generations. Matt Parish, chief executive of the LFC Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for the transition, noting, "We understand how important the center has been in providing community and sports offerings to the local area for more than 50 years." This sentiment underscores the foundation's commitment to addressing social inequalities and improving community outcomes.

As stated by Jane Nolan, chair of the ASCC board, they are “delighted” to pass management to a trusted partner who prioritizes community needs. The facility will continue its current operations without disruption, maintaining existing bookings and programs, including essential activities for children during school holidays.
