LEGOLAND Windsor's Heartfelt Tribute to England's Football Team
In an inspiring gesture of support, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has unveiled a stunning new football display crafted entirely from LEGO bricks, aimed at wishing the England football team good luck as they prepare for this summer’s World Cup fixtures. This creative initiative not only showcases the talents of the model makers behind it but also reflects the community's enthusiasm and support for the national team.
A Impressive LEGO Display
The display, located in Miniland's USA area, is a vibrant homage to England's squad and includes 26 football Minifigures, a manager, and the iconic World Cup trophy, all meticulously built using 918 LEGO bricks. The entire construction process took six hours, demonstrating the commitment and artistry involved in creating a piece that fans can admire.
Connecting Communities Through Sport
Paula Laughton, a Model Maker at LEGOLAND Windsor, expressed her excitement about the project, stating, “With a big summer of sport coming up for the England football team, we wanted to celebrate the moment the best way we know how - with our very own brick-built squad fans can visit.” This sentiment captures the spirit of sporting events that unify communities and fans, fostering a sense of pride and collective support.
Experience the FIFA World Cup 2026 at LEGOLAND
This newly unveiled scene will remain on display until the conclusion of the World Cup, alongside an exclusive FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience event hosted by the resort from June 11 to July 19. This opportunity allows families and football fans alike to engage with the excitement of the tournament while enjoying a day out at LEGOLAND Windsor.
As England competes on the international stage, initiatives like these remind us of the power of sport to bring people together and to celebrate national pride with creativity and joy.
