Join the Fun: 80s Retro Ski Party Supporting a Great Cause!

On March 20, Bend, Oregon will host an exciting 80s Retro Ski Party at UPP Liquids from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This vibrant event aims to raise funds for Oregon Adaptive Sports, which provides outdoor recreation experiences for individuals with disabilities.

Supportive Community Spirit

Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere filled with music as DJ The Cosmic, also known as Atom Bram, spins remixes and vinyl sets from the 80s. The event encourages participants to don their best neon outfits and leg warmers, adding a touch of nostalgia and fun to the evening.

Generous Contributions

While there is no cover charge for the event, UPP Liquids will donate a portion of beer sales to the cause, and guests are welcome to make voluntary donations at the door. Additionally, Sharkmouth Fajitas will offer food, with a percentage of proceeds also benefiting Oregon Adaptive Sports.

Exciting Prizes Await

The event will feature a raffle with a variety of prizes, including a Mt. Bachelor Spring Pass, a ZipTour experience, and a thrilling whitewater rafting trip for two. Local businesses such as Patagonia and Bend Kayak School and Rentals have generously contributed prizes, enhancing the overall excitement and promise of the evening.

Empowering the Community

Representatives from Oregon Adaptive Sports will be present at the event, providing insights into their mission and the diverse outdoor activities available for individuals with disabilities. This event is not only a celebration of the energetic culture of the 80s but also a meaningful opportunity to support an organization dedicated to inclusivity and empowerment.
