Join the Excitement: Liverpool ONE's Free Easter Party Brings Joy to Families!
The annual Easter Party at Liverpool ONE made a vibrant comeback this year, captivating families with an array of delightful activities and creative opportunities. Hosted by local presenters Jay Hynd and Gemma Cutting, the event took place from 11 am to 5 pm and was filled with fun and laughter for attendees of all ages.
A Day Full of Festive Activities
The party featured an engaging program that included bonnet-making, special Easter games, and appearances by cheerful walkabout characters such as Plucky the Chicken, whimsical walking plant pots, and even two adorable bunnies. This year’s event saw over 100 children entering their unique handmade designs into the Easter bonnet competition, giving them a chance to win exciting prizes.
Community Spirit and Creative Exploration
Families were encouraged to tap into their creative sides at the free Easter hat sessions, organized in collaboration with John Lewis and Cass Art, alongside local creative organization dot-art. The festivities included fun activities such as face painting, egg-and-spoon races, and even barn dancing, creating an atmosphere of joy and community spirit.
Donna Howitt, Deputy Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, noting, “Our free Easter Party has become one of our favourite days of the year since we introduced it to our event programme last year. We love welcoming visitors of all ages to come together and celebrate with us at Liverpool ONE. It’s always great to see our visitors unleashing their creativity at the Easter bonnet competition and coming together with friends and family for this free-to-enjoy event.”
Liverpool ONE's Easter Party has undoubtedly established itself as a beloved tradition, offering a delightful day out filled with laughter and creativity, forging strong community connections in the heart of Liverpool.
