Founded by Judy Backus MBE in 2021 after years of dedicated work in the area, Hidden Help focuses on offering free furniture and household essentials to people referred by social services. In the past year alone, the charity has supported 821 families, with current referrals averaging around 60 per month.

A significant portion of the charity's recipients includes individuals who are homeless or those who have fled domestic violence. Adrian "Wally" Sanders, a dedicated driver for the charity, expresses the rewarding nature of this work.
