Immerse Yourself in the Magical World of Winnie-the-Pooh at Nymans Garden!

This February, the enchanting Nymans Garden in Sussex is set to bring the whimsical world of Winnie-the-Pooh to life, celebrating a century of A.A. Milne's timeless tales. This collaboration with HarperCollins invites families to embark on a joyful adventure through the 'Three Cheers for Pooh! Story Trail,' which will be available until June 28.

A Journey Through the Hundred Acre Wood

Visitors to the garden can enjoy the story trail from 10 am to 5 pm, where each stop will feature extracts from Milne’s beloved stories, accompanied by E.H. Shepard's iconic illustrations. Children and families are encouraged to explore the natural landscape that inspired these cherished tales, making it a perfect outing for all ages.

Exciting Exhibitions and Storytelling Sessions

In addition to the trail, Nymans Garden will host the Winnie-the-Pooh Centenary Exhibition, showcasing classic books and the fascinating real-life stories behind them. Attendees can gaze at visuals from the Hundred Acre Wood and get to know the unforgettable characters within Milne’s stories.

Jane Riordan, who has penned charming works such as 'Once There Was a Bear,' will also conduct storytelling sessions in May, further enriching the family experience.

A Day of Adventure in Nature

Nymans Garden offers much more than just the Pooh festivities. Alongside the event, families can enjoy the spacious Play Glade, perfect for youngsters to run, climb, and unleash their creativity. The garden is adorned with seasonal blooms, hidden pathways, and panoramic views, making it an ideal setting for leisurely strolls.

For those eager to explore beyond the garden, trails lead into a broader woodland estate, offering an array of streams, beautiful glades, and majestic trees, promising a day filled with fun and exploration.
