Hull Shines in New LEGO-Style Film: A Local Triumph
In an inspiring showcase celebrating the vibrancy and charm of Hull, a new LEGO-style movie titled "Hull, You're Alright" has taken social media by storm. This inventive short film, lasting just over three minutes, highlights the many attractions and cultural landmarks of the city, from Hull KR and Hull FC to the scenic Queens Gardens and even the quirks of ongoing roadworks.
Creative Visionaries Bring Hull to Life
The film is the brainchild of Adam and Brendan Storch, co-founders of the video production company INIT Creative. Having dedicated three solid days to the project, the brothers utilized their technical skills and artificial intelligence to craft a lively musical tribute that captures the essence of Hull. Iconic sights featured in the video include the Hull Marina, the Humber RNLI, The Deep aquarium, and KCOM communications.
A Message of Positivity for Hull
Mike Ross, the leader of Hull City Council, made a cameo in the video, emphasizing the film’s potential as a powerful marketing tool to attract visitors to the city. “Hull’s alright by me! The INIT Creative crew have done it again," Ross remarked on social media, expressing his belief that the film showcases the city's contemporary appeal, especially with the newly reopened Queen's Gardens.
Highlighting Local Pride
Adam Storch noted the intention behind the film: to share the positive narrative of Hull, which often faces criticism. He mentioned, “Hull sometimes gets a bad press but there are so many positive things happening at the moment. This summer will see even more come together, and there are so many projects coming together.” The film not only entertains but also serves as a beacon of local pride and community spirit, inviting both residents and tourists to find joy in Hull's offerings.
