Initially, Mohlaudi did not own a pet, but his eagerness to learn about caring for animals quickly became evident.

Over the weeks spent at the animal trust, Mohlaudi engaged with volunteers, especially Nico, immersing himself in the principles of responsible pet caregiving. This curiosity blossomed into action when, a few months later, he welcomed an adorable kitten named Lunah into his life. Mohlaudi wasted no time in ensuring Lunah received her vaccinations and was sterilized at the appropriate age, showcasing his commitment as a caring pet owner.

However, the bond between Mohlaudi and Lunah faced a critical challenge when the kitten showed alarming symptoms—loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and severe dehydration. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Mohlaudi took Lunah to the animal welfare team at Cluny Animal Trust. The dedicated staff acted swiftly, administering intravenous fluids and antibiotics, while also providing supportive care to ease her suffering.

A Miraculous Recovery

In what can only be described as a heartwarming turnaround, Lunah began to show signs of recovery after 48 intense hours of care from the team. They worked tirelessly, and their efforts paid off when Lunah started eating again. After a week in the compassionate care of the trust, Lunah returned home, revitalized and full of life, much to Mohlaudi's joy.
