Get Ready for a Night to Remember: The Big Guitar-In Fundraiser Returns!

On Thursday, December 11, 2025, Liverpool will host the highly anticipated Big Guitar-In Fundraiser for the fifth time. This event aims to raise urgent funds to support The Florrie’s Free Community Classes, while providing an incredible opportunity for hundreds of guitarists to perform in unison at the iconic Mountford Hall.
The Importance of Community and Music
This year, the Big Guitar-In plans to set a new record by having 603 guitarists strum together, exceeding last year's impressive turnout of 602. This fundraiser is not just about music; it symbolizes resilience and community spirit during challenging times, where rising utility costs and a growing demand for social support have placed significant strain on community resources.
Spotlighting Young Talent
The event will showcase Liverpool's extraordinary young talent, featuring rising stars such as Ellis Murphy, Louis Gibney, Credits, The Sway, and Olga Fitz. Established acts like Space, Crowded Scouse, and Brian Nash (of Frankie Goes to Hollywood fame) will also join the lineup, promising a night filled with vibrant musical performances.
An Inclusive Experience for All
True to The Florrie’s ethos, the Big Guitar-In Fundraiser is an inclusive event welcoming participants of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned musician or a beginner, everyone has the chance to be part of this unforgettable occasion. Weekly Guitar Group sessions leading up to the event encourage new members to join and practice.
