Caroline Latham, a representative of the estate, expressed the joy of sharing their garden with the public: "When people come to this garden... we just want you to leave feeling better." The estate has been a participant in the National Garden Scheme (NGS), which gives people unique access to over 3,300 private gardens across the nation.
Last year, the NGS in Cornwall raised an impressive £70,000 for nursing and health charities, with Latham highlighting the positive feedback received from visitors. "We thoroughly believe in the National Garden Scheme and all the wonderful, caring charities it supports," she said.

The initiative has created a vibrant community around gardening, allowing people to celebrate nature's beauty together. Libby Pidcock, an Assistant County Organiser, noted that the NGS is now accommodating smaller gardens, recognizing that many homeowners may struggle to provide longer tours. "This estate has a lot of woodland, a lot of rhododendrons... unbelievable, isn't it?" Kolar reflected on the captivating experience of immersing oneself in such vibrant nature.
