Exciting Summer Camps to Keep Kids Happy and Engaged!
The Healthy ‘n’ Happy Community Development Trust is thrilled to announce their upcoming Summer Kids’ Camps, aimed at bringing joy and activity to children aged five to eleven. These camps are not only designed to keep children entertained but also to foster a sense of community and connection during the school holidays.
Kickoff with Fun and Friendship
The series kicks off with a lively Fruit Pastilles Summer Party on Friday, June 26, from 2pm to 4:30pm at their Number 18 Venue on Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen. This festive gathering promises an afternoon filled with games, crafts, music, and a host of activities that aim to create a colorful and cheerful environment for all attendees. It’s an excellent opportunity for children to make new friends while celebrating the start of summer!
Ongoing Activities Throughout July
After the kickoff event, the fun doesn’t stop! The Healthy ‘n’ Happy team has lined up numerous themed camps throughout July. Children can join for one day or participate in multiple sessions—allowing parents the flexibility to choose what works best for their family's summer schedule.
A Community-Focused Initiative
Healthy ‘n’ Happy’s mission is to collaborate with local residents and organizations to make Cambuslang and Rutherglen the healthiest and happiest places to live in Scotland. Through these camps, they are not just providing entertainment; they are nurturing a thriving community spirit and encouraging active lifestyles among children.
