Exciting Performances Await at the 2026 Storyhouse in the Park Season

The anticipation for the 2026 Storyhouse in the Park season in Chester is building as casting details have been unveiled, promising a summer filled with vibrant performances and community engagement. The season kicks off on June 27 and runs until September 6 at the picturesque Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre, serving as a cultural hub for the local community.

A Line-Up of Enriching Productions

This year, audiences can look forward to two premieres that are set to captivate hearts. "Outlaws: A Robin Hood Story" offers a fresh and uplifting spin on the classic British legend, written by Kieran Lynn, renowned for his work on "Gangs of New York." This production runs from July 3 to August 23 and is expected to resonate with fans of adventure and folklore.

Also making waves is Helen Redcliffe's "Let The Sun Shine!," an uplifting drama scheduled from July 10 to August 23. With seasoned actors like David Ahmad portraying King John and Annabelle Aquino as Marian, audiences have much to look forward to in terms of talent and storytelling.

In addition to these two titanic productions, the festival will feature "Peter Pan" from July 28 to August 13, promising an interactive experience tailored for young families.
