The AA has made a significant investment in its workforce by opening a state-of-the-art training academy in Basingstoke. This new facility, designed to improve the lives of roadside patrols and mobile mechanics, is set to support approximately 50 trainees each month, marking a positive step forward for local employment and career development.

Spanning 15,521 square feet across two stories, the academy features an indoor workshop, training rooms, and staff facilities. It has been crafted with input from employees, resulting in a flexible and energy-efficient learning space intended to enhance the training experience for new patrols joining The AA or for those advancing their careers within the organization.

The investment has garnered support from local leaders, including MP Luke Murphy, who proclaimed the development as beneficial for the area's job market and skill-building initiatives.
