In a bold move to honor the contributions of women in the Chichester district, The Novium Museum is launching a groundbreaking exhibition entitled "ChichestHER: Their Story, Our Inspiration." Opening in October 2026, this exhibition promises to spotlight untold stories that deserve recognition and celebration.

Guided by a £117,266 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, this initiative aims to create a rich tapestry of history through research, oral histories, and collaboration with the community. Amanda Rogan, the manager of The Novium Museum, emphasizes the importance of community input, stating, "We want to hear from local people as we develop it, so that the exhibition reflects the community and speaks to the people who live here now."
