Exciting Improvements on the Horizon for Derbyshire Parks

Positive changes are coming to South Derbyshire as the District Council announces significant investments in local recreation facilities. A total of over £400,000 is being allocated for upgrades at Granville Recreation Ground and Rosliston Forestry Centre, set to enhance community spaces and provide better amenities for residents.

Transforming Local Parks

The council's plans include a remarkable £300,000 investment in new wooden play equipment at Rosliston, aimed at replacing outdated structures while preserving popular features. This follows a previous improvement of £80,000 that introduced an exciting new play structure shaped like a sparrowhawk. This evolution in play spaces signifies the council's commitment to providing high-quality, engaging environments for children.

Creating a Unique Destination

Granville Recreation Ground is also set to receive a makeover, with plans for toddler and junior play areas, as well as a dog agility zone.
