Recent announcements have brought exciting news to the community with Ferguson Marine being awarded four new vessel contracts. During a visit to the yard, I had the opportunity to speak with chief executive Graeme Thomson and shop stewards Alex Logan and Kenny Meechan, all of whom expressed their delight at this development.

In addition to these highlights, I visited Devol with staff from Link/C~urb housing and engaged with residents to address maintenance concerns in common areas. My visit to Ardgowan Hospice was focused on the plans for the demolition of the former Greenock Methodist Church and addressing ongoing funding concerns.
