Barking and Dagenham Council recently hosted its inspiring 2026 Women’s Recognition Event, honoring remarkable women whose contributions empower and uplift the community. This event, part of the council's Women’s Empowerment Month, took place on Friday, March 13, and showcased the incredible impact women have on society.

Nearly 1,000 women benefit from her initiatives, which focus on wellbeing and skill development.
