Celebrating Women in STEM: Join the Inspirational Ada Lovelace Day Cream Tea!

This October 10th, the picturesque village of Porlock will host an uplifting event in honor of Ada Lovelace, a pioneering 19th-century mathematician and the world’s first computer programmer. Five inspirational women will share their stories during a delightful cream tea, highlighting the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The event will take place at the village hall, starting at 2:30 PM. Tickets are priced at £9 and can be purchased online or through local outlets, including Horner Mill’s Rosalinde Haw and the Porlock Information Centre. Given the popularity of the event, which has sold out every year since its inception in 2013, early booking is highly recommended.
