The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) is set to highlight eight exceptional non-profit agencies on its Public Service Bus for the 2026–27 period. Among those recognized are the First Nature Foundation of St. Cloud and Victoria Helping Veterans of Kissimmee. These organizations embody the spirit of giving and support within the community.
The First Nature Foundation provides transformative equine-assisted and nature-based leadership programs, helping individuals and communities heal and grow through trauma. Meanwhile, Victoria Helping Veterans plays a crucial role in supporting veterans with essential services, including emergency housing, food assistance, and mental health support. Their inclusion in the LYNX program ensures that their vital work reaches more people in need, showcasing the power of community service.
Excellence in Healthcare Recognized
Further cementing its reputation for excellence, St. Cloud Hospital has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work for the fifth consecutive year. As part of a select group of just 150 healthcare organizations nationwide, St. Cloud Hospital’s commitment to fostering a supportive work environment for its healthcare workers stands out as a beacon of best practices in the field.

Celebrating Young Talent
The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West has recently concluded its highly successful Virtual Art Contest, celebrating the creativity of local students. This year, 336 pieces of art were submitted from various schools within the Osceola County School District, showcasing the depth of talent among young artists.
With community members participating by voting for their favorite artworks through donations to support Meals on Wheels, the initiative raised an impressive $6,750. The winners included standout entries from local schools, with cash prizes awarded not only to the artists but also to their respective school art departments.
