This past Wednesday, more than 100 residents came together at Ringwood Gateway for the much-anticipated Annual Town Assembly, showcasing the strength and unity of the community. The Town Mayor delivered an inspiring Annual Report that highlighted the numerous accomplishments within the community over the past year. The evening included a special talk commemorating the 800th anniversary of the Market Charter, illustrating Ringwood’s rich heritage and the importance of community traditions.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the 2026 Community Awards. This year, the accolades were jointly awarded to the Greyfriars Community Minibus Service and Ringwood Good Neighbours for their invaluable contributions. These organisations play a crucial role in helping residents remain connected and independent by providing essential transport services and reducing social isolation among vulnerable members of the community.
