The event recognized the incredible contributions of various individuals, including an uplifting 78-year-old dancer, a dedicated festival producer, and tireless door-to-door transport volunteers, all of whom were honored with civic awards for their commitment to community service.

Councillor Bob Cook was appointed as the new Mayor of Stockton, succeeding Cllr Stephen Richardson, who garnered praise for his effective leadership during an eventful term that included over 200 engagements and a remarkable £46,108 raised for charity.
