In a thrilling announcement for theater enthusiasts, Broadway San Diego has revealed its 49th season, which promises to bring the magic of Broadway directly to local audiences. From September 2026 through August 2027, San Diegans will have the opportunity to experience seven current hits from New York's renowned theater scene.

This year's lineup features shows that are currently running on Broadway for the very first time in Broadway San Diego's history, highlighting the organization's commitment to providing the very best in theater to the community. According to Vanessa Ybarra Davis, vice president of Broadway San Diego, "This season includes the last two Tony Award–winning best musicals."
