This year, a group of skilled signers from Performance Interpreters has spent months learning song lyrics to provide a seamless interpretation of performances across various stages.

Dedicated Support for the Deaf Community

With over 40 individuals from the deaf community reaching out to festival organizers, the interpreters are accommodating their needs by interpreting popular acts such as Guns N' Roses, Thornhill, and Black Veil Brides. On Saturday, interpreters will be positioned throughout the festival grounds to ensure that everyone can enjoy the musical experience in real time.

Vicci Akroyd, an interpreter on-site at the festival, expressed the joy and satisfaction of being able to help the deaf community connect with music.
