A New Movement to Celebrate Positivity: Greater Good Charities Launches 'Good Exists' Campaign
In an age where negative headlines dominate our feeds, Greater Good Charities is stepping up to promote positivity through its newly launched initiative, "Good Exists." This campaign aims to counteract online negativity and highlight community acts of kindness while providing essential support to those in need.
Empowering Communities Through Positive Action
The "Good Exists" campaign encourages individuals to participate in a TikTok challenge to showcase local acts of kindness they observe. By tagging @greatergoodcharities and a nonprofit of their choice, participants can contribute to a movement that not only uplifts spirits but also drives direct aid to communities facing economic challenges.
A Significant Grant Pool to Drive Impact
To incentivize participation, Greater Good Charities has unveiled a $100,000 grant pool, which will fund five winning entries, allowing them to donate to the charity of their choice. This initiative not only supports grassroots organizations but also illustrates the profound impact individuals can make when they come together to uplift their communities.
A Voice for Positivity in a Challenging Landscape
Liz Baker, CEO of Greater Good Charities, emphasizes the need for positive narratives. "The media landscape is filled with stories that leave people feeling overwhelmed and powerless, but we see a different story every day," she stated. This campaign seeks to redirect the conversation towards uplifting news, showcasing the extraordinary work done by local heroes across the nation.
How to Get Involved
Submissions for the TikTok challenge opened on October 5, with public voting scheduled from October 29 to November 5. Winners will be announced on November 7, providing an exciting opportunity for communities to rally together and celebrate the goodness that actively exists around them.
The "Good Exists" campaign is a timely reminder that, even amidst rising economic pressures and disheartening headlines, there are countless acts of kindness happening every day. By shining a light on these stories, Greater Good Charities is creating a foundation for real change and fostering a community willing to support one another.
