Max Archuleta, an 80-year-old vintage vehicle enthusiast, was unable to attend a car show due to his battle with terminal cancer. His granddaughter, Annaliesse Garcia, sought to bring the joy of the show directly to him.

Garcia never expected such an overwhelming response; approximately 50 car owners lined the streets near her grandfather’s home in Lakewood, showcasing their beloved vintage automobiles. As the parade progressed, car enthusiasts, many of whom were complete strangers, drove past Max’s home, waving and honking their horns. Among them was Butch Souza, who even carried a poster of Max’s photo on his classic 1951 Ford Shoebox. "I had seen him at a show last summer, and I was like, that’s something that you do for your community," Souza remarked.

Max's reaction was one of disbelief and gratitude, stating, "I couldn’t believe everybody. Just all this for me." This touching moment not only created lasting memories for Max and his family but also showcased the incredible power of kindness and community support.
