Rather than consider euthanasia, L&R Rescue in Pensacola chose to invest in Eeyore's recovery, spending thousands on a complex surgery that involved using bone plates to aid his healing. After a long recovery period, Eeyore regained his ability to walk and found a loving role as a "granddog" to an elderly couple.
