The inspectors commended the hospice for its “kind, dignified and person-centred care,” highlighting its holistic approach to supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses.

During a visit in January, HIW inspectors noted the hospice’s commitment to providing a nurturing environment that caters to the individual needs of its patients. Features such as complementary therapies, outdoor quiet spaces complete with log burners, and areas dedicated to arts and crafts make the hospice a unique sanctuary for its users. The inclusion of balconies that allow patients to step directly into the serene grounds adds to the peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for healing.
